West Hanover Township

Arooga's (Harrisburg Rte 22)

Sports Bar
Restaurant

This is the one that started it all — the original Arooga's, pouring on Route 22 in West Hanover Township since July 2008, named after the honk of a Model T horn. Gary Huether Jr. and Mike Murphy built the whole Central PA wing operation out from this room, and the sauces got good enough that Giant now stocks them. It keeps the latest hours of the bunch: 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., seven days. Half-price happy hour runs weekdays 4:30 to 6:30. And the anniversary bashes here are the stuff of legend — past editions brought 59-cent wings, dollar drafts, and a beer pong tournament with $250 on the line.

Linglestown

Arooga's (Harrisburg Rte 39)

Sports Bar
Restaurant

The Linglestown Road outpost of Harrisburg's homegrown wing chain — Arooga's started on Route 22 in 2008, and this Route 39 spot runs the same playbook of wings, drafts, and whatever game matters that night. It's Lower Paxton's neighborhood watch-party headquarters. Wednesday trivia at 6:30, hosted by CNP. Half-price happy hour runs weekdays 4:30 to 6:30, which is the right window for a sauce flight. The music's on Rockbot, so you can queue your own soundtrack from your phone without leaving your stool.
