Weathered Vineyards is a Lehigh County winery run by Richard and Dana — he's a meteorologist and winemaker, which explains the name — with a tasting room attached to Ephrata's Historic Smithton Inn since 2017. The list runs eleven wines, crisp Chardonnay through full-bodied Merlot, plus drafts from St. Boniface and Lancaster Brewing if your crew splits on wine. Saturdays get live acoustic music from 5 to 8 with a $10 food-and-drink minimum you'll clear without trying. In season, Friday and Saturday nights add wood-fired pizza out of the brick oven. Order the crispy fried rice balls — the recipe's a family secret and they're not sharing.
