Ditch the strip-mall pasta joints and take a seat in an actual converted church where the carbs are basically a religious experience. The kitchen crew at Victor's Italian Restaurant is slinging veal saltimbocca and wood-fired pizzas that will permanently ruin your tolerance for boxed spaghetti. Tucked into the neighborhood at 554 S Ogontz Street, the bar pours heavy-handed cocktails to a crowd that knows better than to eat downtown every single night. Grab a spot on the patio or post up at the copper bar, and let the bartender make your decisions for you.
