SRCC is a nonprofit creative collective in Columbia — rehearsal rooms, podcast and photo studios — that doubles as one of the river town's best small stages. Bands, DJ sets, comedy nights and film showcases rotate through all year, and ticketed shows like Songwriters in the Round run about ten bucks. The anchor is Open Mic Wednesday: a real stage with the backline provided, five-dollar suggested donation, and it's BYOB. Bring your own drinks, bring three songs, and tip the nonprofit on the way out.
