Refindings is York's architectural warehouse — 14,000 square feet of salvaged history at 465 East Prospect Street, where nearly 100 vendors pack the floor with stained glass, vintage lighting, ironwork, old doors and windows, and thousands of antique finds. The house motto is "Rescue. Repurpose. Refine.," and the whole operation runs on the belief that a good old thing deserves a second story instead of a landfill. It's part antique store, part treasure hunt, part time machine — the kind of place you walk into for a doorknob and leave with a stained-glass window and a plan for it. Open Monday through Saturday plus Sunday afternoons (9–5 weekdays, 10–5 Saturday, 11–4 Sunday). Bring a tape measure and a little patience; the best stuff rewards a slow lap.
