The second building ever raised in what was then New Ephrata — an 1813 sales bill lists it as the tavern at the sign of the Golden Swan. When the railroad passed the town by and it renamed itself Lincoln, the tavern leaned all the way in, and today the dining rooms are stacked with Abe memorabilia under original 1800s tin ceilings. The main bar is the real thing, old enough that it once had a copper trough at its base for tobacco chewers. Wednesday is trivia at 6:30, hosted by Ken, a longtime server who knows the room cold. Out back, the Tiki Barn runs the full menu and a full bar with daily specials; Thursday brings the crab leg special. Grab a six-pack to go on your way out — they sell them.
