A tavern in the trees of Mt. Gretna, the old Chautauqua arts colony where there's not a chain business in sight. Alan Funck bought it in 2009 and it became the founding spot of Funck's Restaurant Group, now about a dozen locations strong. The deck is the whole point β LebTown's critics called it one of the best deck atmospheres in the Valley, and it stays packed. Trivia runs every Thursday at 8, and live music takes over every weekend from 8 to 11. Go Lobster Tacos or the Pimento Smash Burger with a craft cocktail on the deck while the summer crowd rolls in from the lake and the playhouse. It's one of the few spots out there open late β 2 a.m. closes on Fridays and Saturdays β so it's where Gretna nights end.
