The neighborhood bar of Columbia Avenue west of the city, pouring since 2001 in what used to be The Lion's Paw, a Penn State sports bar. George and Diane Robb built it into a regulars' room; Chad and Bobbi Jo Black bought it in 2022 because, in Chad's words, he didn't want anybody to ruin it. Smart man — he kept the menu and the staff. Order the roast beef sandwich — the house calls it world-famous and the regulars won't correct them — or go wings and a pitcher under the covered outdoor area, which seats 45. Live music turns up on Saturday evenings. With 12 TVs and Penn State DNA in the walls, this is your game-day HQ on the west side.
