The Trisslers took over the old Kegel's Seafood space in 2012 and never looked back — Kegel's had held that corner of West King since 1941, and the father-and-son team gave it a second life. 24-plus taps, live music on weekends, karaoke Sundays and Mondays at 9, and a rooftop Skybar added in a 2019 remodel for when you need altitude with your pint. The Skybar's garage doors roll up in good weather and there's a fire pit in the Lookout Lounge when it doesn't. Order the 551 West Burger if you're brave — it's topped with peanut butter, jalapenos, bacon and cheddar, and somehow it works. Go Wednesday and they knock $10 off the fish tacos.
