Slide in to grab a massive fried chicken sandwich and a Detroit-style pie that will permanently ruin your tolerance for generic neighborhood delivery. Pull up a stool, order heavy, and prepare to cancel absolutely whatever plans you had for the rest of the afternoon.

Splitshift's second happy hour of the day runs 8 to 10pm, dine-in only — the same dedicated bar-food menu as the 4pm round, just for the crowd that shows up after dinner instead of before. Pimento + Ritz $5 (bacon jam +$3), a Detroit-style cheese slice for $10, dirty fries piled with queso, cheesesteak, banana peppers and sriracha mayo for $9, hot honey fried chicken for $6, and the $4 Burger — ground chuck, Cooper cheese, a Martin's potato roll, KMOP sauce. It's the same room that used to be Roost Uncommon Kitchen and Archetype Pizza, same crew since 2013, bar stocked with Lancaster-made Thistle Finch and Triage Spirits plus rotating PA craft beer. Good excuse to linger downtown a little later.
