Splitshift runs two happy hours a day, and the early one is the after-work reset: 4 to 5pm, dine-in only, with its own dedicated menu built for grazing at the bar. Pimento + Ritz for $5 (add bacon jam for $3), a Detroit-style cheese slice for $10, dirty fries loaded with dry-rub crinkle cuts, queso, cheesesteak, banana peppers and sriracha mayo for $9, hot honey fried chicken on a potato roll for $6, and the $4 Burger — three ounces of ground chuck, Cooper cheese, a Martin's potato roll, and KMOP sauce (don't call it a smashburger). Pull up a stool at the bar anchored by Thistle Finch and Triage Spirits, or grab a rotating PA craft pour, and make an early night of it on West Market Street.
